Playstation 3 Slim
Finally… after being leaked by nerds all over the internet, Sony officially announced the Playstation 3 Slim. The new design got rid of the finger print attracting cover, and replaced it with a matte coating. The Slim is around half the thickness. Gone are the touch sensitive buttons which was replaced with spring button instead. The Slim will be priced at $299 which will put it at the same price point as Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Elite. The war is on! |

Scammed by a Nigerian (almost!) – a close call for crazyDiva
After the success that I’ve had with selling my old iPod nano on craig’s list, I thought I’d post my old Fuji digital camera up for sale as well, and see if I can get a decent price for my two-year old camera. I got some offers for my camera for less than $80, so I really wasn’t willing to part with it until I received an offer for my asking price of $100 from a Kenneth Decker. He mentioned to me via email that he would need the product shipped and payment made through paypal. I was ok with shipping the camera to him as long as he paid me the shipping costs, so I didn’t think too much of it and replied to let him know that I would ship it out once he made his payment. Here’s my first mistake! craig’s list is a local classified listing and is meant to save the sellers and buyers the fees and troubles that mediums like ebay and paypal can incur. Something smells fishy… |

Ultimate Xbot Accessory – Xbox 360 Shoes
How do you show your love for the best gaming console ever? By buying their branded shoes of course! As reported by IGN, Heely is releasing a pair of shoes with designs based on the Xbox 360 system. Other then the fact that the Xbox logo has storbing lights, the shoe does not interact with the gaming system at all. Kind of a disappointing since they do cost 12 times the price of the console at $2500. Now if anyone wants to buy me a pair, I will fashionably sport it for you |

Wall-E PC
Looks like someone in Russia has too much time on their hands. After being inspired by the movie, they constructed a fully working PC encased in a homemade Wall-E case. Even though the movie sucked, this case is pure 100% awesomeness. Made from sheet metal and 18 days of labor, they constructed one of the best case I have seen so far. Go to the original site for all the photos on how the Wall-E PC was build. |

Canon XSI with 50mm f/1.8 II- Sample Images
Continuing from my previous post , I started to take pictures of everything around my house once the camera batteries were charged. Wow, all the hype about the Nifty Fifty is true, you really can get spanky sharp images with the lens. In the end, my sister got so fed up with me taking pictures of her, she made funny faces just to make me go away. Browse below to look at my random shots: |

Canon Xsi – Boxing week deal
Even though my Sony DSC-H50 has served me well (most of the pictures in my blogs have been taken with that camera), it did not offer me with enough range to produce the pictures I want. During this year’s boxing day event, I decided it was time to take advantage of the gazillion SLR deals. Move over super zoom cameras, newbie SLR’s are here to replace you! For the sake of trading lens, I have decided to stick with Canon since most of my friends have the same brand. After many, many, many, many hours of reviews, it was between the 40D or the Xsi. In the end, the smaller size, lighter weight, and most importantly, the lower price pushed me towards the Xsi. It was finally delivered today and my excitement burst through the roof! The package arrived at my door step: |
