LA Vacation 2010
|
(picture above not taken by me) I was in LA during the days of June 18 – 22. The trip was all about spending time with my god-grandmother so I mostly stayed in the house with a few random visits to the local areas. Her house has a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean which I spent hours looking at. |

Over the Victoria Day long weekend, a group of girls and I went to Las Vegas for my friend’s bachelorette bash. Well, you know the saying, “Whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” So, I’m not allowed to disclose any details in this post, but I will share with you some of the things that I loved…food and shopping! crazyDiva’s Weekend Getaway Part 3: Quebec City
|
It’s been so many years since I’ve last visited Quebec City, and this was my first visit ever since I started working out of Montreal a year ago! Based on reviews from Trip Advisor, I decided to book a room at Auberge Le Vincent. This is a very comfy boutique hotel with 10 rooms for you to choose from. We stayed in room 10 for a reasonable price and free breakfast. The hotel owner was super friendly. He showed us exactly where we should walk in the old city and recommended a great local restaurant for dinner. Read the rest of this entry » |

Recently, I made a short trip to Hong Kong to visit my dad and brother because they underwent surgery. Besides visiting the hospital during my short stay, the rest of the time I spent on eating, drinking and shopping! Here are some of the places that I tried out: |

The Niagara Proposal Story

So, this weekend I got engaged. The plan was executed FLAWLESSLY, due to my meticulous planning abilities. When I say FLAWLESS, I really do mean FLAWLESS. The weekend started off by watching an amazing fireworks display over the falls at night. We had the prime location, so it was a rare opportunity to be watching it up close… |

crazyDiva’s Weekend Getaway – Montreal, QC
|
My brother came back to Toronto for a visit, so he and my mom decided to take a trip to Montreal for the weekend. They were only staying for two nights, so I didn’t really have anything planned for them except that we were going to try out some good restaurants in the area. Thursday night was Au Pied de Cochon, which I thought would be a good way to start things off, but when we got to the restaurant they had lost our reservation! They offered to get us a table as soon as possible but we still had to wait another 40min before getting seated. Well, at least they didn’t turn us away like they did to the other cutsomers who didn’t have reservations. My mom and bro found the foie gras poutine to be absolutely amazing, but my mom was not so impressed with the Duck in a Can and the Happy Pork Chop. I think it was a bit of a meat overdose for her, but I don’t blame her. I mean, look at the size of that pork chop! |

Mildred’s Temple Kitchen
|
CrazyDiva discovered Mildred’s Temple Kitchen from Toronto Life… and what a wonderful discovery it is! Temple Kitchen was suppose to be a stop over location for lunch on our way to Nadège Patisserie, but it quickly became the most memorable meal of the day. |

Taste of Danforth 2009
|
Taste of Danforth is on again! For those who don’t know, the Taste of Danforth is…
The taste of Danforth is where crazyChiquita and I first met two years ago, but since she was on a flight from Japan to Toronto, she had to miss out this year. It’s pretty much the same each year but there’s so much food available, there’s no way you can try them all with just one visit. |

No Doubt 2009 Concert Review
Written by crazyPyxo Posted On: Jun 17th, 2009 Category: Entertainment, Feature Post Comments No Comments |
After I kept chanting “Hey baby Hey baby Hey!” for the past week, the No Doubt concert has finally arrived to Toronto. Since I ordered the tickets late, only the $100 “limited view” seats were left. It was defined “limited view” because it was facing directly to the side of the stage. Despite that fact, I still had an excellent view and was able to clearly see Gwen Stefani and her amazing abs. |
