For Oprah’s 24th season kick off show, a flash mob of 20,000 surprised Oprah with a dance! I think this is the largest flash mob assembled to date. It’s a pretty cool sight, check it out here:

So this week’s performance episode aired yesterday. Our “Marry Me Melanie” poster didn’t make it on air, actually, no posters did. They didn’t incorporate any of the poster this week. We also can’t be seen in the audience since our area was not lit. While it was fun watching the performance live, it was pretty boring watching the episode on TV. Was it because the episode boring? or was it because I have seen all the dances already?

So I announced in an earlier post that crazyDiva and I were going to attend a taping of the performance show of “So You Think You Can Dance Canada”.  Well… we are back and ready to report!

It was interesting to take a behind the scene look at the filming of this week’s episode.  I was surprised at how smoothly the production went.  Even though there were a few “re-takes”, the taping flowed fluidly from beginning to end.  I was impressed by the organization they had in the studio.

I just saw a commercial for the new toy Elmo’s Tickle Hands from Fisher Price.  The toy looks super fun.  Apparently, the hands shake and giggle every time you move.  You can even follow along with Elmo’s dance moves.  The song is super catchy.  Just look how much fun these kids are having!

Two weeks ago, crazyDiva and I applied to be in the audience of “So You Think You Can Dance Canada”.  Luckily for us, we received a confirmation to attend the show this coming Sunday.  Both of us have never been to any show recordings before so we are both excited.

So I finally got my hands on the Street Fighter 4 arcade fightstick: tournament edition!  I know it has been out for a few months now but due to the hot demand, it has been impossible for me to get my hands on them until now.

There is some Wonderlust Live stage event today at the W Montreal and their guest performer is Daniel Merriweather.  I’m not really sure who he is exactly.  In fact, I didn’t even attend the event.  All I did was go get 4 goodies bags (one for each of my coworkers) because I love free stuff.  So here’s what I got:

If you follow my earlier blogs, you know that I was addicted to Demigod for a while. Well, now it looks like I am the lucky participant of the League of Legends closed beta event. I just received the email yesterday and have been playing a few games already. The game is still under NDA so I can’t say much about it. I am just excited I got picked for the closed beta because I never get picked for any of these events!
