Life in Markham
|
|
Having spent most of my childhood and university days growing up in the town of Thornhill, I am accustomed to having quiet, Caucasian neighbors who mind their own business. Ever since my parents decided to down-size the house, I have been living in the town of Markham for the past two years. I am now fully exposed to having neighbors of Asian decent. I am ok with the Korean BBQ going on in the summer time. However, recently I’ve had to put up with this in my neighbor’s backyard! First, it was cured belly meat and now they are sun-drying salted fish! When is this going to end! I don’t want flies in my backyard! |
