This summer one of my Asian cities I stopped at was Macau. If you’re strolling down the streets of Macau you will notice there are many pastry stores selling Portugese tarts (they look like egg tarts).

A local specialty is the fried pork on a bun. You will have to eat outdoors in the hot sun but it’s worth it. Remember to bring your own tissues and wet naps.

Along some of the smaller streets you will also find many dried meat and specialty cookie stores. If you stroll in you are bound to try and purchase a goodie to take home.

I also had some crab congee but it wasn’t as tasty as I expected it to be.

We decided to have dinner at Madera located in the shopping mall of the Venetian. I tried the Black Chicken and it was interested but nothing special.

  1. lol, either Macau does not have good food to eat, or you went to all the wrong places.

  2. The tarts were really good =)

  3. Did you goto that burnt down church?
