Even though I barely know anything about GI JOE, the trailers were catchy enough to entice me to go watch the movie on its opening weekend.  I expected the movie to be another mindless action flick and I was right.  A very basic story with lots of action jammed in.

The action scenes range from pretty good (like the car chase sequence) to average (shaky camera close up fights).  The acting was horrible with the exception for Sienna Miller as the Baroness.  The story is your typical good vs bad plot found in most summer action flicks.

A fast pace car chase scene

I found the one-line jokes to be annoying since it was so cheesy, but I guess it will cater to the fan of the cartoon series.  Overall, this is your very typical summer action movie.  Personally, I would save this movie for a rental, but for GI Joe fans or movie goers craving for action, I guess it would be worth your price of admission.
