The discuss of the day between my coworkers today was about the article “The math of a happy marriage” It was in the Toronto star yesterday. The question took a look at “What makes a marriage last?” and 3,000 people in Britain were surveyed.

They found:

1) You need to say “I love you” (my female coworkers agreed that they would like their husbands to say that and it’s easily done on their part)

2) Share two hobbies (you probably already share at least 2, you are married!)

3) You need to kiss and cuddle (they also found this nice and they agreed with it)

4) Have sex 3 times a week (this is where the discussion lead to answers like “my husband liked that idea but he could only get that if he did some of the chores or cooking because I just don’t’ have time to do that 3 times a week” “If I were a stay at home mom sure I would be able to” “we’re not in Europe where people are laid back and have time”
