What better way to welcome this year’s Christmas spirit then to see what Toronto has to offer. Last Friday was the annual launch of the Swarovski Christmas tree at Toronto Eaton’s Center. We (crazyDiva, tooVee and I) arrive after the launching ceremony so we can have the whole tree to ourselves. The tree looked exactly the same as last year but I guess that was expected.

They really should put some heavy duty spot light on it because it doesn’t sparkle like it should. If they are selling each ornament at $100 a piece, you think they will make it reflect like a diamond…

Hopefully next year, they will change it up and put something more interesting from their collection… like their Santa stockings and Poinsettia ornaments:

Right outside Eaton’s Center is another Christmas tree, but this one is made completely out of lights that change colors from blue to white:

And if your eyes are sharp, you will catch a bit of the polar bears on the left. Apparently, they have a hidden talent, they can sit there patiently… looking very innocent…

Until an unexpected pedestrian walks by… then they sac ‘em where it hurts!

Another note worthy mention is inside Eaton’s Center at Le Chateau’s window display. They went all out this holiday to set up a very fancy display. Looks like a few sexy mannequins having an amazing feast:

The display was so sexy that tooVee thought he should be a part of it…

Unfortunately, he wasn’t sexy enough so he didn’t blend in… maybe he should try again next year after his “extreme makeover” episode…
