I was at Smoke’s in London, Ontario a month ago. I ordered a large with bacon on it. I was dissapointed in that the bacon seemed to be cut from the same cloth as those thinly sliced strips of bacon you find inside those packaged microwaveable bacon strips. I’m going again tomorrow, and I think I may just order a large traditional.

Ok… went there Saturday October 25th (new one, east end) & at that price, well, I want more curds, want them to melt, want flavour in the gravy and want the pulled port less sweet… What is with the sweetness of the pulled pork? Thot it would taste more BBQey.

Seriously over rated = skip & go to coner greasy spoon for better & less expensive!

If you go to Montreal, you must go the La Banquise! They have more poutines than you can shake a stick at…24 hours a day!

I really miss poutine, and you’d think that in Scotland; the land of deep-fried-food eateries, someone would have brought poutine here…

Oh yeah…Lafleurs poutine carries a budget price-tag, but is still a treat.

Make sure you also try Gilead Cafe’s gourmet poutines. They are wonderful as well.
